Renezrael

Greetings and salutations!

You can call me or Ren, though I've gone by many names over the years. Pretty much everywhere I am you can find me under Renezrael.

I love the internet and especially the indie web and love coding. I have been primarily self taught since roughly 2002 and have been using CSS and HTML ever since. Mostly I like to just play around and make silly little sites and never really finish any of my personal projects but I still have a lot of fun doing it.

Currently I am a college student again and am taking a coding class because I thought it would be fun and a good way to learn a bit more in an official capacity. This site is my final project and jumping point for my own personal site that I hope to expand and maintain the the future.

I've always wanted to create things in general, but have struggled with focus and making choices. I am wanting to use this site as a way to keep me motivated to continue to create. Something, anything, just as long as I am always making something.

To be pedantic about identity I am a trans masc agender biromantic demisexual, but honestly I just say I'm queer. I prefer they and it pronouns and masculine terms, thanks.

I am from the Midwest US and am mixed white and Native American, with Mexican heritage. I'm just a small town guy who does their best to get by in life.

To make existence a little more bearable I have always turned to creative outlets to cope. If I am not creating art I am consuming it. I have always loved to draw and write, and have also ahave an interest in other art forms and love to try new things all the time (if I can afford it). I'm not particularily good at art but honestly who cares. It's just for fun, and you can't get better if you just give up. I know that from experience.

I am honestly just recently just getting back into trying to be more creative often. I struggle with mental health issues and was in a rough period in my life for a few years recently and so I let my creativity stagnant. But here's to the future! All things change in time.
